Today I've a quick extra post sharing a couple of Easter cards that I made this week using the sketch over at Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge:

Here's the first one, which is also for the stencil challenge over at Inkspirational:

I liked the freshness of the green and blue colour combo on the check (not quite plaid!), so made this the main feature of my card and using the colours to pick out the details of the other elements of my card. In addition to a little ribbon trim and some enamel dots, I added an Easter sentiment to my diecut banner and a stencilled egg with a silhouetted rabbit, using a stencil I made from a Pocketful of Happiness diecut:

I liked the simplicity of this card, so whilst I had all of the bits and pieces out on my desk, I thought I'd make another one using the same layout inspired by the beautiful soft blues of the Handstamped Sentiments colour palette:

I'm also entering this one over at Just Add Ink where they are about stencils, dies or both. This is a simple card, but I think the little details, like the stitched border on the diecut banner, the twine add additional visual interest.

The soft blue of the paper, with its Easter bunny and eggs pattern, also highlight the stencilled silhouetted bunny perfectly:

Here is the visual summary of the key products used on today's projects for you to pin for easy reference:

You can see all of my 'How To' summaries on my 'How To - Tips and Techniques' Pinterest board in case you've missed any.
Enjoy your day and I'll be back tomorrow with another project. Until then, happy stampin'!
