Today I'm sharing a card that uses Michele's layout over at Freshly Made Sketches this week:

When I saw the arch in Michele's sketch, along with the frame, I thought this layout would be a good opportunity to showcase one of the layouts on the pre-printed backgrounds sheet in the Easter Joy Specialty Designer Series paper - take a look:

Here's the low-down on today's card:
This design has a green grassy mound and I sky full of pink line drawn florals, so I framed it with some pink and white gingham from the retired Wildflower Birthday designer series paper and added the reverse silhouette of a punched pink bunny, complete with extra large pearl for his tail (I couldn't find a pom pom anywhere!). I added a sentiment from the retired set 'Best Bunny' and added some punched foliage to complete my card:

So here's the thing: I think this is an 'ok' card, but I really struggle with this Easter Joy paper. It's shiny, with an almost gloss finish, and the white areas appear almost grey (especially when photographed) - they are certainly not a bright white. Otherwise, this was a fun card to make and uses up lots of bits and pieces! I also unintentionally kind of CASE'd the lovely Michele's card too!
Enjoy your day; I'm off to my pilates class and then since the hubs is off this week we are going to tackle some outdoor clear up jobs, weather permitting. I'll be back tomorrow with another project. Until then, happy stampin'!
