Happy Friday everyone! Today I'm sharing a sweet Valentine's card that I made for a few challenges:

I started with the colours over at Sunday Stamps (I managed to use all 5 colours) and Kim's layout over at Freshly Made Sketches (full confession here - I had sketched the layout less than accurately and when I finished my card, realised the angles on my diagonals should have been steeper/angled differently - I might have to have another go at this one!) and I'm also playing at Festive Friday with pink, diecuts and hearts from their list. I chose an 'oldie but goodie' from the retired shelf for today's card - take a look:

Here's the low-down on today's card:
I thought those diagonals would be great for rows of pink hearts and heart-embellished letters, as a background to my cute kangaroo from the retired 'Kangaroo & Company' set bearing a cluster of hearts and a hidden message in her pouch:

An additional touch of decoration inside completes my card:

This card is already in the post to the youngest of the James Juniors - sweet!
Enjoy your day - I have a couple of appointments followed by lunch with a friend - what a lovely way to finish the week! I'll be back on Sunday with my project for our new challenge over at The Paper Players. Until then, happy stampin'!
