Today I've a quick post to share a card that was inspired by the current CASE The Designer over at SUO Challenges:

I love the layout over Cindi's card which is a 'go to' if you are a lover of designer series paper like me! My only dilemma was which paper from my (extensive!) collection to use. Take a look at what I came up with:

Here's the low-down on today's card:
I went to my Floral Charm papers because I knew it contained some great solid background patterns on one side of each sheet. I wasn't intending to use the navy pattern, until I realised that I hadn't yet cut into it and the florals on the reverse are some of the prettiest in the pack, so I thought I would put that right. I used the navy pattern for my base, added a sentiment strip similar to Cindi's card (my sentiment is from the retired 'Charming Day' stamp set) bordered with some Berry Burst to pick up the pink of my flower, and then I fussy cut a rose from the reverse side of the paper and layered it decoupage-style for extra detail:

A few co-ordinating Berry Burst gems complete my thank you card. This card is all about the paper - so pretty!
Here is the visual summary of the key products used on today's project for you to pin for easy reference:

You can see all of my 'How To' summaries on my 'How To - Tips and Techniques' Pinterest board in case you've missed any.
Enjoy your day; I'm off to the gym for a session with my personal trainer. I'll be back on Friday with another project for our new challenge over at As You See It. Until then, happy stampin'!
