Today I have another double-post Sunday as I'm delighted to be guesting with the team over at AAA Cards again for their new 1+1 challenge:

I chose 'animals' to go with my 'on the farm' central circle and I decided to revisit an old favourite, Peekaboo Farm, which is perfect for this challenge. Take a look at what I came up with:

Here's the low-down on today's card:
My card features a cow and horse as my chosen farm animals, peeking over the drystone wall. I stamped the wall first in two stages onto a piece of white cardstock, then added the animals into the gaps and coloured with my Blends. I decided to pop this section up for a little added dimension, so after cutting it out (without leaving a border as I usually do because I wanted it to blend into the scene) I positioned it onto my base (without gluing) and stamped the clouds and sentiment in place. I then masked the clouds and used my blending brush that I use for light blue to lightly colour the bottom portion of the background to add a little colour to the sky, then I removed the masks and added on the panel with dimensionals:

With all those neutrals there isn't much in the way of colour on this card and you do have to suspend reality a little as far as the cow's pose is concerned (I've seen horses rear up, but never cows, although happy to be corrected if anyone out there has!), but otherwise, this makes for a cute CAS card.
Enjoy your day and I'll be back tomorrow with another project. Until then, happy stampin'!
